This update allows customers to process data locally within the country, meeting the requirements for data processing within a desired geography. The models, including Claude Opus 5, Claude Sonnet 5, and Claude Haiku 4.5, can be accessed through the Amazon Bedrock console or programmatically using the Anthropic Messages API and Amazon Bedrock InvokeModel and Converse API. Customers can monitor usage and costs through CloudWatch and AWS Cost Explorer.
